As a proud resident of South Cook County for 20 years, I have actively served our community as a trusted public servant in Elementary School District 159, representing the Villages of Matteson, Tinley Park, and Richton Park for the past 6 years. I have stood firmly for integrity, equity, and respect, fighting for fair pay for teachers and school staff, because supporting our educators means supporting our students.

 

I stood alongside neighbors at community meetings to oppose unfair property tax hikes in South Cook; always putting people first, not politics. As a member of the Constitution Review Committee, Director-at-large, and a Distinguished School Board Member with the Illinois Association of School Boards, I've represented South Cook Families with open communication, integrity, and inclusion.

Now, I’m ready to take that fight to the county level. Cook County deserves a commissioner who listens, includes every voice, and leads with honesty and transparency.
